Received the Brown plaid bag from a cousin. Must have used it 7 times, when a noticed that the strap was tearing away from the bag! Cannot have the bag fall from me, so put it away and now telling you how disappointed I am with your product especially for the price!

Hi! My husband just got the LVad and we are looking for a vest. The mens one looks a lot longer. Would he be able to wear the ladies version? He is 510.
My bag, plaid gold and brown was purchased from my cousin after my surgery....received it in March of this year. The strap , where the clasp is, has torn away from the bag.....not happy since it could have fallen off and caused major damage to me! How do I ask for a refund or another type of bag?
The best, most comfortable method I have found for wearing my equipment. Hard to tell you have batteries and controller in it when zipped, it also distributes weight well. Excellent costumer service as well!
This backpack does come in handy but it isn't worth the money. Its cheap flimsy material and i do love the straps but zipping it up it just feels cheap.
I like to get this LVAD shirt for my brother who just had an Heartmate III implanted. Should the shirt be worn tight fitting or loose fit?

Best product out there in this horrible situation, I have tried other amazon stuff for my active life style, to no avail, like the shooting jackets....puhhhh. From an LVAD wearer myself, this is the best you can get without having an LVAD at all. You can't see it from the front, and only a slight bulge in the back. I am very active as a Sr. Manufacturing Plant Engineer actively crawling around machines and this rarely ever causes me issues over the stuff the hospital gives you. Outside of work, woodworking, shooting guns, motorcycle riding, wife/girlfriend time!!!, you can't beat this breakthrough.

The last review I wrote included a little criticism of one of this company's products. I also told them that though I had ordered an extra large sleeping belt it was too small. Without any further prompting from me they sent me a brand new 2XL belt no charge. I'm truly impressed with the way this company runs its business.

Our shirts are true to size, however, if your fit is tighter at your current size I would purchase one size up to ensure the right fit. Plus, we also will exchange if the fit isn't correct. Hopefully this answers your question.
i have had the fishing mesh vest since May.ordered double x should have got the XL .spacious.wish the pockets were up higher. over all its a great purchase. I also have a leather vest this was a good purchase. style and looks,

I just received my lvad shoulder bag and it's exactly as shown. The elastic for the batteries I'm sure will hold all day. The strap is the most comfortable one I have ever had. I will definitely be getting another in the future.
Thank you Sharon for your comments on the shoulder bag and strap. We use the strap in many of our products. The stretch absorbs a lot of weight and we apply that concept to most of our products.
I have a HeartMate-3. Looking at your photos, I do not see a front strap. I am a hiker and will need as sternum strap. If not could, could one be easily added? My 25 pound backpack just became 50 lbs. I will need a cart for the 50 pounds and a backpack for the LVAD. Plan is to walk Camino de Santiago next year.

Does the mesh vest work with the Heartware LVAD? (This would be for my wife.)
We make them for both HeartMate and HeartWare. The one for the HeartMate fits both the HeartMate 2 and HeartMate 3.
Does the backpack require a longer controller driveline? Or does the existing Heartmate III driveline fit?
Good Question Ken, almost everyone has enough driveline to work on the backpack. There are some people who do not, it kind of seems to be people with a larger stature. Like all our items if something does not work, it should be returned and refunded or exchanged.
Is this Heart mate 3 compatible?
Yes, all of our products are made for the HeartMate 2 or 3.
