This item is built using a Posture Correcting back brace,

  • Designed with built-in structure to help reduce backaches or other issues caused by carrying an LVAD.
  • Alterations are made, pockets are added, and additional features are implemented to create a complete, functional unit.
  • The controller and battery pockets utilize proven systems with double-locking hook-and-loop closures to ensure your safety.
  • Hook-and-loop loops, help to hold your cables in place.
  • This unit works with driveline placement on both side, and the controller and batteries are mostly covered for added protection.


It’s easy to secure your LVAD device. We recommend placing the unit on a table to load it. Once ready, slip one arm through the appropriate side hole, followed by the other arm through the second armhole. With the device fully supported on your back, wrap the waist belt around your waist and secure it with the hook-and-loop closure.

Best product out there in this horrible situation, I have tried other amazon stuff for my active life style, to no avail, like the shooting jackets....puhhhh. From an LVAD wearer myself, this is the best you can get without having an LVAD at all. You can't see it from the front, and only a slight bulge in the back. I am very active as a Sr. Manufacturing Plant Engineer actively crawling around machines and this rarely ever causes me issues over the stuff the hospital gives you. Outside of work, woodworking, shooting guns, motorcycle riding, wife/girlfriend time!!!, you can't beat this breakthrough.
