This best works great! Is the 2nd one I purchased. And is most comfortable of all the ones I’ve tried so far. The mesh keeps things light and cool.
I needed an xl and somehow I received a small
They run a little long. It would work better if batteries were higher on the leg.
Pants concept is excellent taking the weight off my upper body and hides all of the batteries. Two problems...1 the belt loops are extremely poor and not stitched in properly....2. it would be nice is there was a zipper of flap for males. I also feel if the battery holders were further to the side there would be less interference with bending on my knees. But so far the best way to wear my LVAD.
I love the idea of these, but the implementation is not the best. I bought two pair and within a week 3 of the belt loops on one par are pulled loose and I haven't even used a belt. I have cut off multiple long threads off of both. I hope they'll hold up, but.... I guess I'll see.
I have purchased multiple items,shirts,t-shirts and vests. I am Very Pleased of my purchases!!!
I feel that the batteries should be a little more on the side and the controller.A little higher 5 foot 7.
So it seems to strike me on my drive line site with a lot of activity. Irritates the drive line.
the belt is 8 inches shorter on 2xl/3xl than the first time I got this
This vest is amazing comfortable especially in social situations. Beats wearing the LVAD shirt all of the time. I even bought a second one.
I have old style lvad shirts from a person who donated them to me after he got a heart. Yours looked like the batteries were placed differently, so I decided to try and order and see. YES!!! Like this design much better...and the other company was more expensive. Thanks!!!!
For the many years that i have purchased my LVAD vests, I have always been able to have them customized by using one-inch-wide Velcro instead of the standard one-half inch width for the battery pockets. The reason for this request is, for active LVAD users, with the 1/2-inch-wide Velcro, the batteries can fall out when a person lends overs. This causes a strain on the connecting cables to the controller. This is in turn can result in loss of power to the LVAD and or damage to the controller, causing serious injury. As a licensed Professional Engineer, (P.E.) it my duty to notify you of this safety hazard and ask that you reinstate this option and or improve your current design.

I got these in black. I bought a XL and I think they might be a little big. I had to wear a belt. But I think I can wear scrubs for work and no one will notice. They do make me feel GREAT with all the weight I lost.. I am tired of looking bulky from the waist up. I guess it might take a couple of days until they seem to be the "New Norm." I am going to buy them again a size smaller. Worst case I can always return them. Overall excellent purchase and excellent price.
Keep the at $ 62.95 My husband love them I brought him 2 of them And when you get some more for the sleep one let me know [****]. Greg & Lillie Smith
Thank you ❤️ 🙏🏾
I recently placed an order for Heartmate tank top and as usual requested that the controller pocket not be sewn on because of my husbands short line. Pocket needs to be on right side for him. I got an email back saying that I needed to place a minimum order of ten shirts for this to happen. Ridiculous ! Apparently the company changed hands 5 months ago and they now source these shirts offshore and will no longer do special requests. I just read a recent review from another client who actually received a shirt this month. He said white fabric is different and pink in color. Based on his review I now realize that tank top is crew neck not a V neck so it will be visible under shirts. It is very unfortunate that this has happened to the LVAD community and taken away a valuable source of assistive devices for carrying the equipment. Time to move on !!!!
I bought this for my husband to use when he came home from surgery. While the design is great for holding the controller and batteries, the quality is less desirable. Within two weeks and just a few washings, the Velcro is coming unstitched on one pocket and the thread is coming loose on the seam. The shirt is not holding up well at all.
I've been buying from LVAD Gear for 7 years now. The tanks tops are no longer a 'V' neck style, and the neck line is VERY HIGH & HUGS THE NECK!The material has totally changed & feels cheaper. If you order WHITE, well, you will receive a very, very light pink.
These shirts make living with a VAD easier. More comfortable than the vests given at the hospital. However, the velcro length on the battery pockets vary. The ones with only 2.5" allow the batteries to move forward causing it to pull forward when you bend over. We've received one from you that is also 3" which works and holds so much better.
Says ladies on the label, call them they say unisex.good luck returning.
Very comfortable tank top which I'm happy I purchased for my husband. He can tuck his batteries in the side pockets and the controller in the front. Best of all, he can wear a regular shirt over it, nicely tucked into his pants, and add a leather belt. He feels well balanced with how the devices are located and likes that no one can tell he's wearing an LVAD.
