FASHION & FUNCTION: The Leather LVAD vest is made from lightweight leather, suitable for year-round wear. Designed to be both fashionable and functional, it completely conceals the LVAD. The vest features battery pockets on the inside, located under the arms for comfort and balance. These pockets secure the batteries with hook-and-loop closures. There are three internal pockets to hide your HeartMate Controller. The side pockets close with snaps, leaving a lightweight pocket for your cell phone. The vest is intentionally long enough to fully conceal your driveline while carefully designed for both style and practicality. For HeartWare LVADs, please purchase the “HeartWare Controller Pack” shown at the bottom of the page. Batteries will still fit comfortably in the vest.

This shirt made getting dressed an balanced with LVAD equipment. Not only comfortable but balanced out the weight of batteries and controller. Fits underneath clothing smoothly, no bunches and bulges. Washes well and holds shape. A+++++
These large shirts fit a lot better than the XLarge shirts I purchased a couple weeks ago, the large shirts fit great, they work great for your everyday activities, for example I go golfing and they work great, but when it’s hot out you tend to sweat a lot. But other than that they are great!!

For the second time I ordered a black shirt and received white. One of these has to be a medium rather than a large. Fit is extremely tight.

Have been using the LVAD shirts for 3 years in December. They have been great to hold my LVAD gear. Happy to have found them, they have made life with an LVAD a little easier.
Prior to the LVAD shirt I was weighted to one side with the vest. The shirt fit perfect to hold batteries and controller close to my body an remain balanced.
Works as advertised! Distributes the weight of the equipment. A little bulky on me but otherwise very happy.
